- Strange. It is in fact possible, that some jumpers on the
- harddrive are not set correctly (e.g. on some HDs a jumper "slave
- present" must be set). Or the HD and the Mitsumi just "hate" each
- other. Try making a boot floppy with IDEfix/ATAPI on it and remove
- the HD. If the CD-Rom is recognized, you have a problem. In this
- case, a four-drive adapter (IDEfix supports this) might solve the
- problem, as both devices could be masters on the two IDE channels
- without being aware of each other.
